RSPB River Clyst meets Exe Estuary

Peter Exley – Regional Public Affairs Manager – spoke about the RSPB’s work locally, around the UK, and overseas to protect birds and other wildlife. He also explained the charity’s history as a campaigning body and the recent shift of brand and messaging (including it’s first TV advert) to reach a broader audience and build more public support. Peter certainly busted a few myths and preconceptions about what RSPB does and who it’s for.

Louise Cole from Beckworth Independent Financial Advisers commented, “it was great that Peter was able to join us for this event and explain the fascinating and inspiring work of the RSPB, including nearby on the Exe Estuary. He is a really dynamic speaker with clear passion for the environment and engaging people with nature.”
